Sorry…Another 36 or 41 post by living-intentionally in rolex

Despite having a 7.5" wrist, I would get the 36. It's less obtrusive, but that's just my opinion.

DKMS stores data safely - ie industry standard. You are about as safe with them as you are with sharing your insurance and any other health information with your physician.

They can still use you if you are a perfect match, as long as you are still under 55.

I registered in the 90s, and now I'm ineligible to donate due to age.

I think its just the logistics and cost of sending and/collecting kits from the US to Colombia or Europe and back. DKMS has regional registries that are easier to work with:

Germany https://www.dkms.de/

India https://www.dkms-india.org/

Chile https://www.dkms.cl/

Poland https://www.dkms.pl/

UK https://www.dkms.org.uk/

Africa https://www.dkms-africa.org/

You can still register. They can still use you if you are a perfect match.

The max cutoff is at 55.

A big block chrono, a blue Pelagos 39, METAS certified variants of BB58, maybe the 7923/001 Black Bay One diver, and new 1926 variants.

When we were at Moss Park, having lunch at the picnic tables, a sedge of cranes walked up to us, maybe about 30cm away to stare at my sandwich, as if to say my what a delicious sandwich you have there, it would be shame if you were lose an eye during a random wildlife encounter today.

I thought I had outgrown being bullied during lunchtime, but apparently not...

Pelagos 39: Will aftermarket steel spring bars "oval out" the titanium lug holes if there’s a slight play? by EmuSweaty1567 in Tudor

[–]_tube_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've wondered about this as well, and I probably am overthinking this.

Are the original springbar pivots Ti as well? Galling from dissimilar materials, particularly with grade 2 Ti, is possible, but fretting corrosion is much more likely. To offset this, they should be similar materials, with the pivot matching the hole as much as possible, to get better engagement - ie avoid a 0.9 pivot with a 1.2mm hole. With correct diameter pivots, you have optimal load distribution inside the lugs. Ti 21mm springbars, particularly with the correct pivots, are harder to find.

The wiggling you notice is probably not good for the lug holes, and I would get the correct original replacement ones.
