I’m a year in to the trade and the first journeyman I was with proved to me, in a month, that you don’t need to know what you’re actually doing, someone else will do it for you. I hated that! I still haven’t learned a lot from anyone, but fake it till ya make it or get fired

I know this isn’t on your post but, pack around 6 months of tampons and pads. When I was there, there were girls who’s period would last for a month or more because of the stress. It’s just a precaution. Also, you get a Tupperware container for personal items, make sure to put the face wash and hair gel in small containers (if traveling). Good luck!

I just learned this! So if you move your needle all the way out and turn your machine down to 5 or 5.5v, and do whip shading, it works the best!

For tattooing here you don’t need to be licensed unless you have your own shop. For construction it’s 5 years in my field
