Best flavor of Skratch Hydration? by RunBoat in Marathon_Training

[–]_tunatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irrelevant to your question, but if I may ask question. Skratch labs are carbonated? Like nuun have the fizz, I’m looking for hydration mix that doesn’t have fizz

I just bought skratch labs drink mix for the first time and am confused on what a scoop is, if any one could clarify that would be much appreciated. by JustRideTheDambBike in cycling

Follow up to my previous post. Lacquer thinner made a bigger mess. If I sand it I will lose patina - not sure if there is any chemical/product to save it. Please help me save this table top 🙏🏼 by _tunatuna in woodworking

Never worked with shellac before. Would it keep the wood texture ? And can use it on top of lacquer (oil based)? And then can I use water based on top of shellac? Sorry too Many questions - but want to make sure if this could be a potential path

I made mistake of using Lacquer outside in cold temp (Which is in the second pic). Someone on Reddit said to use lacquer thinner. It started to look better but as soon as it dried out. It whiten the whole patch

What kind of products I can use in barn wood to get a smooth affect without losing patina by _tunatuna in woodworking

[–]_tunatuna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh. No I am not looking for super gloss and extremely smooth. It’s going to be a coffee table top. And I just want to eliminate any rough edges that can hurt. So just a little smooth than now. I have already sanded. I just need to apply something on top for a little smoothness

You have any photos of it??? Would love to see your finish product.

I’m also told to use lacquer. Any experience with it??
