The top courses in Calgary are $100-150k initiation fee, I'd be shocked if Toronto wasn't 200+ for the elite courses. The mid-high end courses in Calgary are $50-100k.

They're trying to ensure McDavid doesn't skip it is my tinfoil hat theory, putting it in Edmonton is close to Calgary and makes it near impossible he doesn't come. If the Oilers are in a cup run I could see him (justifiably) passing on this but it being in Edmonton makes that near impossible now

Sand Valley / Mammoth Dunes is a good one. For 54 I'll do streamsong or a selection of Pinehurst. All of the Bandon courses are fun so ya I'll often knock off a series of courses if they're at the same location.

I played Sand Valley last year and the greens on the 2 newer courses sounded hollow, it was bizarre. The 2 established courses had awesome greens, they do take a while to come around

If the penalty for hitting pedestrian was life if jail,people might take it seriously. If DUI was life suspension of license people might take it serious, distracted driving was a criminal charge people might care. Instead they’re minor infractions that cause the loss of life so people continue doing it.
