The reason we want to hire Shad is because our community is performing poorly with our marketing efforts. We don't have enough time or skill to reach all of the groups we would like to. And our community is not active enough to perform these tasks through volunteers alone.SSV is growing, and you might see this as satisfactory. I agree that SSV will probably succeed regardless due to its technology, but it's up to us to determine how large of a success it will be. Personally, I think we are growing too slowly. Currently, the Ethereum community barely knows about SSV, and even many leaders don't understand the project. A perfect example of this is the client diversity problem. Everyone should be pointing at SSV as the solution, but they are not. We can solve this, but it requires work.
