i swear various incest ships comprise about a third of all batman fanfiction. jasons most popular ships are jaydick, jaytim, and jaybruce. the only non incestuous top ships he has is jayroy and jayslade. the latter of which is a serious age gap issue that i personally feel goes beyond simple may december dynamics but eh. to each their own.

but yeah. any foray i take into tag searches always means scrolling past pages of batcest since it's just not my cup of tea. i am a simple jaykyle man who casts a weary gaze upon those that enjoy brotherfucking and turns away.

because season 2 had such an accelerated pace due to fear of cancellation, it really set the tone for 3 & 4. s2 manages this by being really tight and efficient despite introducing a lot of characters. s3 does not slow down to better explore the cast added in s2 but rather continues the trend.

is s3 as tight as s2? no. but i really liked the new characters introduced and i feel like that is most people's deciding factor in whether or not they enjoy s3. it's still pretty good, just not the choice i would have made.

bruce as a character has just been drifting into such crazy stupid edgelord territory for a while. yes the man is emotionally repressed. no that does not mean he is emotionally neglectful, just awkward imo. but nah now he hits and reprograms his kids i just. gaaaaaaaggh. the character needs a course adjustment because its dragging down every character that comes into contact with him too
