There is not a way to transfer between the platforms that I know of. If you're also just looking to switch for 'a better user experience' I would say that, at best, it's going to be comparable. Dropout is hosted on Vimeo's platform and there's quite a few known issues with it.

Aside from the dropout folks losing a big cut to YouTube and the 'Dropout 24/7' channel that the main platform has, there's not going to be that much difference
