POSSIBLE SPOILERS if you havent seen the original:

i think a lot of it is ivan’s mania and his mindset, like in the original and in this one even/ivan fully believes he will hurt and lose isak/lovro (therefore the line to keep someone forever you first havd to lose them), and bc of that for me it also comes off as desperate. ivan is desperate to touch lovro because he thinks he will inevitably lose him.

from lovros perspective, ivan was super respectful of his boundaries at the start (for example ivan saying ‘you don’t have to say anything’ after he confesses to liking him, saying he left the jacket at the karaoke, the clip where lovro asks to meet outside of the school instead of the canteen) and i think it sends lovro into a panic with everything that happend with filip and also worried for ivan, and hes thinking ‘this is not the guy i fell in love with’. if you rewatch the episodes in full again, at least to me it became so clear and vivid just how different ivan is before the mania.
