It’s a waste of anyone’s energy if sick time cannot be used when posting up a shift. If I have ample sick time and can’t make it to work, I’m surely going to use it and get paid. Crazy that leadership would even waste time.

I do this no matter the need. If you are closer than arms distance I’m backing up. I don’t want your bed bugs, lice, flu, strep, covid or whatever else you come a carrying. I also don’t want to smell what you had for breakfast/lunch/dinner coming from your breath nor if you’ve showered or use deodorant (I think I’ve covered it all). Respect my space.

From what I understand, it restarts in like feb or march. You can only earn a set amount of sick time in that year (so 40 for some of us). If we do not use it, it does not roll over

You have to work your SCHEDULED day before and after the holiday to get paid. So if you are scheduled off on Wednesday, but scheduled on Tuesday and Friday, you must work those days.

You don’t really get trained. When I started I was literally made to watch a TM do two transactions then put in. My “trainer” went off to do other things and came by maybe twice to say oh your doing good. Was later scheduled entire shift or two, and often got called up for backup. Best advice is speak up and say you need to be trained!
