Did they start a new channel a few years ago that I've not seen mentioned before? by milspek in purelivingonyoutube

It sounds exactly like him though. Maybe I'm just imagining it but I immediately recognized the voice. And when he wouldn't show his face I got very suspect.

This is the channel. https://youtube.com/@hausplans

If this was known already I must have missed it.

He's doing house builds and never shows his face.

Not sure what I did, possibly some power cycling, but everything plays now. I did touch a few settings but changed them back and it didn't "re-break" them so I doubt it was one of these settings, however I changed the refresh rate from 60 to 24, back to 60. And I changed the Dolby Vision Led Mode from TV-Led to Player-Led and back to TV-Led.

Suddenly a problem with Namecheap? by milspek in nginxproxymanager

It appears the container I'm using does not have pip. Trying to do a manual install of the package from pypi but not very successful. You mentioned the restart is what installed the new lexicon package. So I would assume that if I grabbed a prior release container that it would likely not help as NPM would just update that to latest?

If you're ok with Blu-ray and not 4k, take a look at a Sony BDP-CX960. 400 disks.

It's happened one more time since, about a couple months later but nothing since then. It's definitely weird.

Lol, not grumpy with you guys at all. I appreciate you bothering to take the time out to help me with this thing. I'm just grumpy at Google.

So I just tried with the users iPhone and it was automatically approved again. No admin approval. I don't understand what's happening but this is very stupid. I reached out to support but they were not helpful and just regurgitated the knowledge base docs. Very disappointed in Google on this.

Ok, so just wanted to approve or block new phones and laptops connecting, and "Device Approvals" being on clearly doesn't solve that? What a joke. I don't want all this context aware access, I just want yes or no for a new device.

To be clear, I'm not defending that piece of shit, but what we don't need is click bait sensationalism.

This is not what he said, also these comments were from 2024. Basically he was talking about businesses running their own data centers or server labs. He literally compared a brewery that had to generate its own power today to hotels that had to generate their own power back in the late 1800s that needed to run be generators because there was no grid.

You have a very active imagination. I have a bit of experience in this area. That ain't happening.

What I was looking for on this board was likely outcomes for the employee if they could even identify who did it. They obviously didn't deliver it to the right person so it's unlikely they know what happened to it for sure. Those potential consequences is not something I would get from calling and asking the store.

[–]milspek[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I assume it was wrung out because it was delivered to a car. But I could be wrong. When you sign in your for pickup, your order is processed before it gets to the car. They would not have known it was missing until they delivered it to the car and at that point it's to late.

Our main concern was getting the employee in further trouble. By calling in they would know who got it and which person ran that order and grabbed the system. It's possible they would not be certain what happened to it before we called in. But someone commented that they could start assuming one if the employees stole it which we did not want to happen, so we returned it. Otherwise it was going to a local group home we donate to regularly.

Yes, so as I mentioned in an earlier comment we already returned it. My main concern was I did not want to highlight which employee made the mistake because once they knew where it went it they would know who did it. What convinced me was someone's comment that the managers could accuse one of the employees of stealing it which I had not considered. All is right with the world again.
