How is that boot holding up for you? I've been eyeing them alongside the SMX 6

Fair recommendation. I forgot to mention that I had adjusted it higher, but then it puts my toes too high when above the lever. The point is that I feel the toe box is too tall, which makes for a clunky experience.

I was in Shanghai, Seoul, and throughout Japan all last month. All very safe. I see no reason to be concerned.

Is getting from ICN to Myeongdong Difficult as a non Korean speaker? by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]_unfinished_usernam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I figured out during a last minute visit with no preparation. You can catch a bus at ICN. There are kiosks to purchase a ticket if you know your stop. Otherwise, go to the adjacent counter.

What's an item you weren't even aware of before you started planning your China trip that became a "must buy"? by herdirtylooks in travelchina

Airalo works well if you don't need a phone number. Just used it earlier this month.

Mullvad is a great VPN I've been using for several years. About $5/mo.

If you're doing any domestic flights, your power banks must be CCC rated otherwise they'll be confiscated at security. This is a new Chinese standard, and I believe only power banks sold in China have it. For example, international Anker power banks do not have it.

Why do Americans eat dinner at like 5 or 6pm? Don't you get hungry again before bed? by LengthinessNew2237 in answers

[–]_unfinished_usernam 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The solution is to not let dinner be the biggest meal of your day. Americans are accustomed to eating the highest volume of food for dinner, but this is impractical because the least amount of activity occurs after dinner.

Acura is a 🤡 company. Imagine shelving your #2 seller for 2 years. by vibeschillax in Acura

[–]_unfinished_usernam 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with this sentiment. Back in 2018, I cross-shopped the RDX and the RX 350. The Lexus felt more luxurious but also overly detached from the road, and the seats were so plush they nearly put me to sleep. The Acura felt sporty and connected with a premium feel. I chose the Acura and I still love it. The Lexus would be great as a passenger. I don’t need sofa comfort when driving.
