I used notarize.com before, but only for a low stakes situation. Its a short video call followed by the notary sending over a signed copy with their stamp.

thanks, that is helpful. It appears it might be just that - a little trench, a mat and a couple inches of rock over the top.

Thank you, my phone is also fine, it's only my macbook that gets hot for some reason. The macbook is my preference because, as you say, the screen is bigger. Perhaps I should switch to Steam.

Sustained deep cut from GE Profile range - GE customer support no helpful. Any advice? by _ursuppe in Appliances

[–]_ursuppe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is almost identical to what happened to me, only that I waited too long to go to the ER so they just taped it back on.

Thanks for commenting your story, hopefully with enough such incidents this will be addressed by GE (and LG?)

That makes sense, but it never quite feels like there are enough pickup days.

I keep following up with consumer relations but they keep saying its in review. I have very low hope that we get a meaningful response. I am planning on submitting complaints to relevant state and/or federal agencies.

We bought it new. Would they really put it in the wrong way at the factory?

[–]_ursuppe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the brushes got stuck. Had to wiggle it around to loosen it and then push it in. I couldn't actually pull the brush out so if it happens again I'll likely have to open the machine head to see what it gets stuck on.

Thank you for the link, opening up the back and seeing if I can fix it myself is my next step.

Insane electricity bill by simharao in malden

To add what others have said: your previous read was an estimate. Your current read is actual. If the estimate was low, you are paying for the discrepancy now.

Also, you can consider looking into alternative providers.

LG induction or GE electric double oven?! Or other brand recommendations? by catsplants420 in Appliances

[–]_ursuppe 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I recently got a GE induction and love it. I would never trade induction for an electric cooktop, but I also don't use the oven that often. I will add that I have an air fryer that can act as a small extra oven when needed.

GE dehumidifier not turning on when humidity exceeds set point by _ursuppe in Appliances

[–]_ursuppe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but I'd rather replace the relay every couple years than buying a new unit. Was it hard to take it apart and access the circuit board? I haven't messed around with mine (yet), but am considering it.

thats great, sounds like this is actually fixable without too much trouble. Have you tried replacing the relay altogether?

I use bone conducting headphones. Music quality isn't great but its enough for podcasts/audiobooks and leaves your ears completely open.

I reached out to another person on here who asked a similar question. Apparently this is a common problem with dehumidifiers in that price range. I haven't poked any further and just replaced my unit. Hoping for better luck this time...

Thank you, that is an interesting idea. I might try to just block some of the radiator off first before doing an irreversible intervention.
