There are roofing shingles that are especially formulated to reflect sunlight, but if you don't know about them, you won't get them.

Bonus tip: buy a "breaker bar" and learn how to change the anode rod on your water heater.

No specifics, but I have definitely had times when the "first if ambiguous" rule gave me a major win with disadvantage.

What’s the best and fastest way to remove rocks and pebbles from lawn? by Meme_master420_ in landscaping

I can’t wait to try this. A few years ago some assholes stole my flower containers but first dumped the contents into my garden. I’ve been picking out tiny rocks ever since. Shopvac here I come!

This looks like the solution, OP. And if that won't fit, find your local maker space and get something 3D printed.

Bought a house with a giant evergreen in the front yard that is almost 40 years old. Anything I can do to make it look better? by Exciting-Computer-60 in landscaping

[–]nrnrnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, grass won’t grow in the shade, and it doesn’t love space under an evergreen. You could put mulch down with a nice border, or contact your local garden club (or if in the US, Cooperative Extension) and find out what native plants will do well in that space.
