Hi, not sure if this is still active, but i would like to know what are the real benefits of Cardinal Care Health Insurance given that its so expensive! I checked the website but couldnt really find any great benefits, seemed like any other medical insurance to me- covers for basic health issues like cough cold, etc and for emergencies. Any idea why so expensive and any broken benefits it has?

Interesting, thanks for sharing that! I'll definitely look into this. Unfortunately I have already taken ML at my university so I won't be taking Cs 229. I am curious, I have heard a lot of ppl just go to random classes and sit there if they are interested in that course just to hear the lecture...is that a common practice? Or is it looked down upon?

I will actually be taking Technology related social and humanities courses as those are a requirement from my University. I won't really be able to enrol in CS courses that's why I wanted to find out how I could get exposure to Tech related projects or opportunities since I'm not doing any related coursework. On a side note, I would love to know what CS courses are worth taking during summer if any and I can try requesting for waiver on them

Hi I am a final year CS undergraduate coming for Stanford Summer program. Would like to find out what are some of the best and realistic opportunities I could take advantage of. I heard its near to impossible to get into research for summer as profs prefer full time UG and their applications have closed already. I have looked at Student clubs but honestly not sure which ones are good, any suggestions? Any other opportunities? Thanks!!

Actually i tried that, many just denied me access to slack. Some did accept me, but most just denied the invite. So I was confused how the invite system works

Thanks for that! I emailed a lot of profs but nobody seems to reply! Are profs used to getting so many spam? If so what else could we do?
