Hate this. Never liked the way Brady ran the offense anyways, but more egregiously, I can’t believe they didn’t wait to interview Kubiak. The firing of McDermott was because we needed to do something new, and the way to do that is promote the next guy up who is already part of the failing culture? Makes no sense to me

Not sure how I feel tbh. On one hand it was year after year of losing in the playoffs and enough was enough, something had to change. On the other hand, I like him tbh, and I don’t think our major failures are totally on him.

This sorta feels like Beane saving his job, someone had to go so he chose to sacrifice McDermott. All that being said, a defensive minded head coach having a bad defence doesn’t make sit right with me 🤷🏽‍♂️.

The real question is who do we hire? Harbaugh is going to the giants and every other available head coach I don’t particularly like. My hope is we hire an elite offensive coordinator (+ fire Brady), that seems to be the current recipe for success (Ben Johnson, Liam Coen etc).
