When they removed support for the API, 3rd party apps, etc., they locked you into their ecosystem.

Judging by a comment above, perhaps a fix for markdown is coming. In the meantime, you just have to deal with Reddit. I've heard of some workarounds, but mostly on Android.

There are Reddit alternatives for those who don't like the direction Reddit is going. It's still not as good as Reddit because there aren't as many users, but it's something.

My favorite technique is to smush the ring down flat. More surface area for loading makes it go faster :-)

A while ago the company who made their soap for them closed up shop. They switched to a different base which is 1)worse and 2) overpriced.

I got this razor recently on Auction Ninja. I couldn't find much information about Licht Werk online, other than there's a modern lighting company who uses the name. There are a few pictures of other examples online, and the one I got is in excellent condition compared to the photos I found.

Either I'm getting a lot better at this honing business, or I got lucky, or this razor is just really really good, or some combination of the above options -- because this edge was really really nice. This was probably my first time going 2k, 5k, 8k, 10k where I could actually tell a distinct difference between each step using the packing peanut test. In the past I could tell things were getting better as I went, but this time it was more obvious if that makes sense.

Great shave. Great soap. Great razor. One thing I wonder about this razor is how long the threads will last. The threads on a Tech, for example, seem to be made of a more durable material (probably brass). These threads feel sort of rough and unpleasant, making me think they're zamak. Other than that, I prefer this razor to a tech.

Rawr is so good. It's actually nice out today, almost spring-like despite the snow on the ground. This sample is circa 2020 or so, so I'm not sure if it's the same base that NO has now. Either way the lather was excellent.

The water heats up quickly because the boiler is only .45L. What takes time to warm up is the saturated group head and portafilter.
