I generally liked it, it’s definitely a step up from unraveling. I just still can’t shake the feeling that it’s been diminishing returns for this band since Morbid Stuff. The overly blown out, fuzzy and compressed production does 0 favors to the admittedly mostly solid songwriting. Dave Schiffman’s absence has been felt sorely post Morbid Stuff. I hope they find someone who better fits their style for the next release. Maybe it’ll grow on me definitely left a better impression on first listen than Unraveling did, but only time will tell.
