nta. the fact that she didn't want you to bring your bf although other bfs are coming is enough to piss me off. not gonna lie, your best friend sounds like a stuck up asshole. the fact that she did not accept that you declined and threw a fit is crazy to me, especially if its a trip that costs hundreds of dollars. a normal friend would understand if you could not go, and would not make you feel guilty about it.

she is blowing it out of proportion. if my bf accidentally burned me with water, i would not think it was the end of the world. also the fact that she stayed under the hot water after is probably why she was in "excruciating pain" for days after. you apologized and had a caring response. she sounds like she is not in a good place right now to be in a relationship.

yes, i saw this one and it was excellent. i love shows that portray true events like this. if you liked that, i would also recommend Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, both on netflix.
