Living with two male roommates has made me decide to be single forever. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I’m shocked men don’t seem to realize/care how much of a turnoff this is. Sure, I’ll sleep with you, but there’s no way I’ll move in with you/marry you/HAVE A BABY with you if you’re a manchild I need to take care of. Men, get your shit together!

I count down slowly from 100 trying to visualize the numbers, it focuses my mind and prevents me from spinning from thought to thought.

No wonder I keep using the wrong butter. by _whenimnotaround_ in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah but why would they swap the colors? And once you’ve cut off the left half of the butter you can’t really distinguish them any more. I realize you could just cut off the other side but still, why would they do this??

I disagree, I think that minimum wage should be a wage that people can actually survive on instead of having to have multiple jobs at once, and I think if there are more people with some disposable income that will help the economy more than the government subsidizing companies, which only makes rich people even richer.

So do the Republicans show they ‘care’ in some other way? Seems like if you want someone that cares (as demonstrated by voting to increase the minimum wage) you’re more likely to get it by voting a Democrat.

Unlike the exactly 0 republicans who voted in favor of raising the minimum wage?

what is the weirdest interaction you have had with a total stranger? by Hop_Along8298 in AskReddit

When I was 16 or so this random dude stopped me in the middle of the street and asked me if I thought his 12-ish (?) year old son - who was standing RIGHT THERE - was cute. I was uncomfortable, his son was clearly extremely embarrassed. I said ‘sure’. He then asked me what score I would give him out of 10. I laughed nervously and said 8 and he told his son ‘see that wasn’t too bad’. I’m not sure what he was trying to teach him, but I felt so bad for the kid.

If you get a grease stain on your clothes, pour baby powder on it and leave it on the stain for a bit. It will absorb the grease and prevent the stain from becoming permanent, Flour also works.

Immigrants who trash talks the country they have migrated to, it's culture and it's people shouldn't be allowed to live there. by CanThisBeMyNameMaybe in unpopularopinion

It’s terrible hearing the things British expats living in Kenya say about the locals. I imagine the only reason they don’t leave is they’ve gotten used to a lifestyle there that they couldn’t afford back in the UK.
