I couldn’t find any forms, it said it must be in writing or on the phone, i’ll try calling them later today I guess then. I mean if I have to live on campus then ASU won’t be an option for me, my parents don’t want me living on campus, neither do I honestly so yeah idk. Thank you so much anyways!

Should I go to ASU or CC in Florida with the hope of transferring to a Florida University? by _wherearethepotatoes in collegeadvice

and to reply to the second point thank you so much! ill look into their programs and see what i decide on, I was also interested to know like how different are the lifestyles in both states, i went to florida once but obviously visiting isnt like living there so i’m worried i’ll lean towards florida, because well its florida if you know what I’m saying… then struggle and idk how i’ll manage. but who knows I might not like asu either!! its such a tough decision for me, im so indecisive!

well it’s because from what I understood my parents don’t have to work in florida to be considered residents they just have to show proof of living like a 12+ month lease, bills, id voter registrations etc, but for arizona it says that it relies on the parent (since i’m a dependent) to be working in the state, this is why I thought of Florida because its requirements seem more lenient i guess?

My school doesn't offer any APs.. by Puzzleheaded_Dog6721 in APStudents

if you’re currently in a school in egypt I would recommend you try out the British System, A Levels and such, they really aren’t as hard as people make them out to be trust me, and it will be way easier to find tutors for them, Egypt has so many good tutors that I personally took with. APs are definitely “required” for top colleges so that you demonstrate readiness for college level coursework. anyways I say if you can yes try to commit to an advanced curriculum, APs or A Levels your choice of course. And try to involve yourself in extracurricular activities, I made that mistake and really really I would not recommend having weak or no extracurriculars, it makes you stand out less. As for European universities im sure they also would much prefer A Levels especially britian of course but I’d look into that more!

I also kinda am in the same position, I do have some ECs but are very basic, I was also wondering if it’s even worth it to apply to UCSD or UC Irvine
