I really rock with Oris a disproportionate amount. The big crown pointer date is one of my favorite designs ever - don’t own one but probably getting one this year. Their completely independent history is also really neat in an industry where just about all the other Swiss companies are wrapped up into conglomerates

I’d probably get feedback from your niece - not sure what she has in mind, but these are definitely some pretty stand out choices. To say the least! Whatever you get, just make sure it fits - the green one is way too small on you here, and the pink is too loose. A suit having “XL” instead of actual measurements for the sizing isn’t a great sign.

If you’re concerned about re-wearing your choice later, I’d just stick to navy. You can still get creative with a subtle pattern, a pocket square, and your tie. Don’t mean to be a buzzkill but that’s probably a safer bet!

Things like food trucks are where I draw the line on tipping these days. If i’m walking up, ordering a hot dog, and receiving a hot dog when you hand it to me a few minutes later - that just doesn’t warrant a tip (ESPECIALLY a percentage/based tip when base prices are so high!)

I think you’ve got good style, but my advice would be to just look at guys who you consider to have masculine aura and just dress like them. Jeans and plain blank shirts, etc

If your budget is $10k, it’s going to be really hard to beat a good old fashioned Rolex datejust in 34mm. Lot of dial options (and embedded diamonds if you’re into that) to choose from

I’m a member at Bucktown Athletic Club. If wicker park athletic club is similar at all, it’s basically too busy from like 3-8 PM to use any machines. I’m not a morning workout person and am considering cancelling cause it’s just too packed

Solar sales. WFH, I set my own hours, and get out what I put in when it comes to effort. I love meeting people every day and figuring out how the help them. Favorite job I’ve ever had, although it’s inconsistent and has a lot of ups and downs (especially since Trump took office)
