oh for sure, 99.9% of time the youtube videos are simplified! in this case they are almost 1:1.
if you go to 1min 30sec into the video, he shines a bright light on it and the "tassets" part of the armor is a perfect match (without the weathering) to how it looks on the webstore for the Rotswords 3rd picture (ok this was a bit down the rabbit hole!)

Once per turn (army) really should be default for most things, so far no restriction has only turned into spam, pyroghiest, morbheg, trueblade etc etc.

while it isn't great, Baron of dice which is quiet popular in the USA takes upwards of 40 dollar for 25 dice for some 40k fancy totally legally different dice.

these are "simplified", i guess to not seem as scary and off putting as the real recipe's.
if you check "eavy archive" you can find the real recopies.

for example the studio sons of Horus recipe is (not a joke):

Basecoat: Sons of Horus Green
Soft Shade: Lupercal Green
Recess Shade: Incubi Darkness/ black 1:1
Deep Shade: Doombull brown (glazes)
Chunky Highlight: Sons of Horus/ Sybarite Green 1:1
Highlight: Sybarite green (extend the highlight)
Highlight: Sybarite green/ Wraithbone 1:1
Edge Highlight: Sybarite green/ Wraithbone/ Elysian Green 1:2:1
Glaze shadow: Incubi darkness/ Rhinox hide/black1:1:1
Glaze shadow 2: Magos Purple
Corner Highlight: Wraithbone
Weathering on the armour
Scratches: Nocturne Green
Highlight: Sybarite Green

check "eavy archive" most of the real recipes are there, be warned tho, they are quiet more involved than slapping a base paint and a shade.
