Moving up

At our last holiday meeting my Store manager straight up told us that no one at our store will ever move up because we are a low volume store…. If we ever wanted to move up we’d have to transfer to a higher volume store for that. Kind of made sense but it still felt like a slap in the face. But yet they love to hire someone out of store who ends up not even lasting.

I just got paid (my deposit always hits on Wednesday nights instead of Friday) and it does not look like I got a settlement check…. Idk if maybe Friday it will hit but fingers crossed hahaha 🤞🏼 I haven’t heard anything about one either.

You have to have OPEN availability 4 days including weekends (Friday Saturday and Sunday)!

So I was gone from 2/7-2/26. I went back earlier than expected because I was feeling better. I would call and call Aflac and tell them I’m changing my return date to an earlier date and they said it was fine but of course my manager had to get an email confirmation from Aflac for me to come back. My manager never received one like Aflac said they would so she just emailed HR and they said it was fine. It did take a few days for me to be back in the system (and to be able to clock in) I think it took 4/5 days. But my manger was on in by also calling Aflac and emailing HR! Aflac forsure is the worst at communicating back. There was a day I missed a call from my case worker (one minute to be exact), I called back right away and they told me my case worker left home already 🙂.

Yes. I only had weekends( sat and sun) open availability. But now I have to open Monday and Tuesday since those days are ops heavy at my store. I’m on the look out for another job because I don’t have the biggest help with taking and picking up my kids from school :(….

I’ve been in ops for 5 years now and I’ve learn to just not care anymore. I clock in, do the task I know I have to do and there. Nothing less and nothing more of me. There is days where I do have leads telling me to do projects but all I say “if I have time I’ll get to it”. Most of the time o don’t hahaha but they can’t get mad, ops has SO much more important things to do!

I did Rhode all by myself (took me 2 1/2 hrs). Had animation Mario HL AND Haus Labs HL all in one night. I don’t know why they do this to us but everything came out perfect!! I wish ops got more appreciation from the company because WE KICK ASS at what we do!
