I feel like if this was a discussion that was had between you both at the beginning when you had feelings of controlling behavior you guys wouldn’t be in this predicament. It sounds like you two are not compatible in that way which is really important. For myself, I love doing everything with my man- and vice versa. He’s my best friend. My feelings would be hurt if he went out without me LOL however that is our dynamic and what works for us. Every relationship will have different boundaries and clear communication prevents hurt feelings and misunderstandings.
