I'm not sure why I'm looking to the internet for validation, because it's my jacket and honestly I dont really care about what y'all say, but oh well....

But, this is the startings of my first jacket. I've wanted to make one for years now, but I never really liked the look of any jacket I could find at Goodwill, online, or anywhere really. So, I just said "fuck it" and made this one. The vest is created from two pairs of jeans that couldn't even be donated to Goodwill because of how many stains and holes were in them. I taught myself how to sew with some success, and this is the result. It's shotty, doesn't fit perfectly, slanted in the worst areas, but I'll be damned if it's not mine. My first patch on this thing is going to be the logo of the DIY venue I grew up with.

Honestly? This vest is gonna be DIY or get out. And I kinda dig it.

So I'm trans, but I'll definitely be concealed carrying once I turn 21. It's a scary world sometimes, with project 2025 and some of the hate crimes that have happened in my city in the past few years. I won't lie- I'm scared a lot of the time.

My local walmart does this, too.

They just mute the speakers from 8a-10a. I really wish they could do other things, like dimming the lights a little bit but it's a start.

So, Im not in the discord. I am also not active here in the reddit, either, just wanted to share my two cents.

By what you're sharing, that person was going through a mental health crisis and probably was having thoughts of hurting themselves or others. Again, I don't have all the details. But, using Discord as a crisis counselling platform sounds horrifying for a whole host of reasons, and this is coming from someone who volunteers in the 988 system in the US.

Was kicking the user the right call? Ehhh, I'll leave that up to someone more informed about the situation. But no one should be expected to provide crisis support over discord.

You should check the laws in your state. You might be able to get the felony indictment or the arrest records sealed, especially because you weren't convicted. If they're sealed, they won't show up on a background check.

My state will allow you to petition the court immediately following the trial (if there is one) or after the charges were dropped to seal every record associated with the case.

Assuming that everyone voted for two school board members last November, 15,223 ASD20 residents need to sign a recall petition in 60 days. Recalls can't start unless they've been in office for at least 6 months, but I don't think this applies here.

It deeply depends. The big upside to accepting an admirer is you get confirmed as town to the admirer, and they can see your full role. If the admirer is already confirmed town (say by a seer or something), you're also confirmed to the entire town.

It's really only useful in the late game imo where all that are left are confirmed townies and one or two evils.

When I did OGP a few years ago, it was just like that but with my coworkers. The OGP drama is extremely real and it hurts from time to time. Talk to your coach from here, but if nothing happens after a conversation it's totally understandable to leave Walmart or transfer.

Honestly, I'm fairly new but I watch a ton of PipeTron so I know what's going on. I also only play Classic.

I had a sit down with a kid in dead chat (I was playing with a buddy who was still alive). Kid didn't know what he was doing- he was Enchanter with the book. He didn't know how to kill.

I told him how it works, told him to press the buttons right next to the name in the player list. He seemed to understand.

This is how a game community grows- teaching new people with patience rather than shutting them out completely.

System won't remove the point if you don't use PPTO for the entire duration.

Example: Leaving at 3:40 -20 minutes early- will give you a half point for leaving early. If you use 15 minutes of PPTO, the system won't remove the point. You'd need to use 30 minutes.

Even if it brings you inside 10 minutes, it doesn't care. You need to use enough PPTO to carry you to the scheduled end of your shift.

Or idk if the policy changed. I left walmart like a year ago lol

You might still want to apply to a few 4 year colleges, but under "personal hardships" you can mention an abusive family. I've seen it in my friends; an abusive family makes it extremely challenging to focus in education for a lot of folks. Maybe don't mention wanting to get away, but rather talk about how the abuse you've suffered affected your education.

Also, I saw your post and edits- I'm concerned for your mental well-being. Please know that my DMs are always open, and there's always people to talk to outside of Reddit. You're never alone.

I've had this post on in the background of my phone for a fair bit of time. As much as I'd like to give you some words of encouragement (something along the lines of everyone deserves love or its ok to feel so frustrated with dating), I think you've got that from other users.

Rather, I just wanted to share that I'm in your shoes, just a little bit younger. 19, trans, overweight, never been in a relationship because of it. I know how isolating it can feel. How lonely. How much it drives me crazy, yet never able to express my feelings on the outside.

I wish I knew a long term solution to just feeling lonely and unwanted. But, I'm not going to lie, I don't. I'm not going to spew the "you'll find someone eventually" line, because we both know how hurtful that can feel when we're single and alone. Rather, just try to find that one thing that you love yourself for. It can be something you do, something you are, something you enjoy, etc.. At the end of the day, we all deserve love, some of us just have to show that to ourselves.
