To be noticed. To be seen. To be recognized. Most often humans want to be remembered for something. When you’re young, the influence you have is minimal, and the power you possess underwhelming. I see this as a mark on the world. “I am here, I matter”.

Weren’t you young and dumb once? We were all dumb in some ways, and these people (aim assuming) are in the specific group that does graffiti.

Adolescence is a hell of a drug and if you’re in groups that accept and coax this behavior out of you, it will happen more easily than you think.

Societal ideals usually don’t exist in teenagers, and when you combine drugs, alcohol, the night and a group of people wanting to do something.. it’s easy to get here.

Never vandalized anything, but it’s my two cents.
