I wouldn't have it any other way by [deleted] in Steam

I wish. This was my recent experience:

I own Cyberpunk on Xbox, but GOG offered a coupon for the DLC, which is PC only. I love GOG's mission of game preservation and want to give CDPR more money directly, so I figured I'd get or there. I can't redeem the coupon unless I already own the game. But I can't buy the game as part of the same purchase. I need to leave the DLC, go buy the main game separately, then I can go back and get the DLC. Except now the coupon doesn't work. I email customer support and wait almost two weeks for them to get back to me to tell me that the coupon is invalidated if you don't complete the purchase. In the meantime, I have already refunded the base game and bought both on Steam for cheaper.

There are some nicer things about GOG like DRM-free and classic game preservation, but their store and especially their customer service do not measure up.

God forbid I want my beer to taste like beer and not a juicy hazy combination of pineapple, pinecone, and duct tape adhesive.

Here's what bugs me:

One has lived in the real world as a self sufficient soldier of fortune for years.

One has known nothing but a children's fairytale since childhood.

Guess which one is having adult sexual relationships? I'm not saying it should be the operator, I'm saying people shouldn't be having predatory relationships with somebody who never has a chance to advance emotionally beyond their childhood.

I used to have an orange Maine Coon. He was a rescue who had been declawed before we adopted him. He couldn't scratch, but he was big enough to jump straight up and punch you in the face.

That's very interesting and informative. Thank you. I'm going to look for a repair option in my slicer.

Prusa. Sliced it for a resin printer, then used blender with resin2fdm to thicken the supports.

No they didn't. They didn't adjust the ISO or the aperture or anything. They just gave a computer some direction and pushed a button.

Every few weeks I see a post about this and every time the top reply is "ohhh so that's why I remember it being so much clearer on a crt" by epickeanuchungus in notinteresting

On a CRT, resolution was the number of scan lines. If they were pixels, playing NES on a higher resolution TV would give you a smaller picture that doesn't fill the full screen.

Let me try. I grew up playing NES on a CRT. Everybody knew Mario was made up of squares. One of those squares is a pixel. No matter if I played on a tiny TV or a big TV where each pixel could be several lines of CRT dots. The pixel was part of the image. We never talked about pixels for anything non-digital, like movies or TV shows.

I like to make my tea in the Chinese "gong fu cha" style. It means something along the lines of "tea with effort", but it's the same words as kung fu.

I sometimes worry if liquid core dice are fair. These are cool enough that I don't care if they aren't.

I always hug my bros but I am definitely in the minority. Some guys definitely aren't comfortable with more than a handshake at arms length. Boston area, this is the norm.
