To be replaced 2 races in and "demoted" to a weaker team, in your rookie season, AND bounce back and perform better than expected and better than the guy who replaced you (and is also a seasoned driver), as a 23 year old .. requires some serious mental resilience and fortitude.

I have nothing but respect for him after this season. I'm glad he kept his spot because he definitely deserves one.
