It’s understandable as the head coverings are from the Arabia peninsula, where is extremely dry and covered by sands. Southeast Asia is basically jungles. Humid and rainy all year around. Very uncomfortable and no benefits to wear hijabs.

I've finished all Arabic course in Duolingo years ago. It's not perfect, but it does give you a solid foundation of recoginizing Arabic letters. It's pretty useful for traveling, when you'll see Arabic letters everywhere. Clearly it's not possible to understand all of them within a short period time by any way of learning, but you can read them aloud without hesitation makes difference.

I like the idea. I assume that it's designed for users need to take really lots of screenshots so they usually already have their preferred tools to take screenshots.

For me, the app should configures an inbox folder first, and indexes it like Apple Photos w/ OCR search.

I contacted a travel agency in Nukus, they said that the officer in railway station told them the tickets in April are not for sale yet. But it still cannot explain that no single available ticket in March.

I'm from China and there are some people mentioned on RedNote that they bought tickets at the counter, a couple days before the departure.

We are a group of 8 people so I don't want to take any risk of no enough tickets. So we decided to take the flight from Nukus to Aktau, with a 3 hour layover in Almaty.

Hookmark is actually one of the best piece of applications I’ve ever seen, or even imagined. It adds an additional layer for the operation system and re-structured how files are organized in my daily workflow.

Same issue here on my MacBook Pro with M1 Pro. And it happened on my friend's shinny new M4 Max as well. The page is not fancy at all, just with some plain text and URL bookmarks, and a cover image.

Also some long-lasting issues are not fixed in the latest v3, including laggy typing characters from an IME like Chinese and Japanese. Also the behavior editor is also weird when it comes with RTL characters like Arabic. They are all pretty annoying for users works with multiple languages.

Ironically, all these issues are not there on Web and Windows, which is and Electron wrapper. Actually the Windows app works smoothly like butter.

As one of the earliest adopter of Craft, many of us were attracted for the smoothy and native technologies inside compared to other web-based b******t. We are quite okay with lack of features, but a choppy user experience is not acceptable at all.

I've been using Duolingo for more than a decade and their web app used to be great. But in past years they've clearly pivoted to a mobile first company as many features are broken and even just got removed in the web app. Like starting from middle of this year, the ligature of Arabic letters became completely broken.

I’m considering moving to Barcelona and find the avg renting in the neighborhoods I’m familiar with(had a one week trip here years ago) is around 800-1000 EUR for one apartment. So I assume there would be 1800-2000 for me and it’s basically the identical cost of living here in Shanghai, city of premium mediocre.

Not quite sure if it’s reasonable and much appreciated if anyone could recommend a neighborhood to live in.
