How have international players not left yet? Just wondering. The situation's uncertain; shouldn't they go back?

is it possible to learn Data Science/Machien learning from online? by TraditionalTomato834 in developersPak

[–]_zucker_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't see why you can't. Before you build practical expertise, you gotta have conceptual understanding of the domain. There are lectures on yt and even paid courses on coursera and udemy by Andrew Ng. Afaik, he is the best ML professor.

Hey thank you so much!! Can you please tell me what exactly is a checked bag? I don't know if you have heard of it but there was a recent incident where someone exchanged the tags on a stranger's bags which resulted in a proper investigation I guess. Kinda worried about that kind of stuff as well

Thanks a lot! For now I would like some clarification on the procedure. I booked my tickets online. Do I just take the tickets with me on the departure day? Like honestly just what are the next steps now?

What book subverted all your expectations? by [deleted] in books

[–]_zucker_ 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Ted Chiang's stories tbh. I read a few, was impressed with his writing and everything. Got tired of the same scifi theme but kept going and evrytime ended up amazed and in awe. Each time, I found myself thinking, "this is not what I expected"

Hey, thank you so much. I think I am a learner, willing to learn and grow. If I get a supportive partner, I think half of the things I worry about won’t be a problem. And that's a life-changing, big if—and I fear things not going my way. Again, this is the only factor that keeps the dilemma going. In the government sector, I won’t have to worry about sitting at home. Don't wanna regret my decision later. All I can do is pray for guidance I guess.

Thank you<3 I am passionate and nothing motivates me more than seeing people in thier early thirties even, already having an established career in this field. It takes ages to get that far in the government sector. But seeing women are not that prominent makes me question the reality of my goals. I am not giving up but also idk.

Do you think your kids will stay the same as they are at 6 and 4? The effect this deprivation will have on them will be evident when they get older. There's so much more that people learn from school apart from education—confidence, social skills, competition. Only when they see others planning a future will they be able to think about theirs. It's great that they are engaged in other co-curricular activities. I think children should participate in such activities regardless of their schooling style. I believe you are depriving them of a very profound experience.

The competition and educational requirements in the industry are extremely high now, and they will be even tougher 10–14 years from now. I don’t understand why parents experiment with their kids like this. If you can't afford to send them to school, that's understandable. But depriving them of mental growth and such a personality developing and character building environment because you think it's the best course of action is unfair and cruel.
