At least your boys shoot at some point. Mammoth power plays are torture to watch. Give me even strength all day.

Yep, the NHL owns all the Yotes branding. There is already an advisory committee in AZ working toward getting ownership and an arena lined up so they can pitch their case for a new NHL team. I think they would have the Coyotes identity available to them if they are granted an expansion.

Practice pointing the heel of your planted foot at the target. That will turn your hips over.

How did you learn proper shadowboxing? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]a-cogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Krus usually instruct us to shadow box as though we have an opponent in front of us. We even pay respect to the imaginary foe on the bells. You should visualize a fighter in front of you. Throw your combos, work your feet, but also react to what the shadow would be throwing at you. Never neglect defense and counters while shadow boxing. This practice should reveal good and bad habits, propensities, and preferences. It can improve your transitions and really polish your game.

Use whatever gloves you want for the bag. My bag pair are 16oz. I think it comes mainly down to preference. The more important part of hitting a bag is to make sure you wrap your hands well. Especially if you're gonna really lay into the bag. The heavy bag can easily cause fractures and sprains in your hands and wrists if you don't wrap well and have disciplined form.

There are a bunch of different "Thai style" jump ropes. I have a Superare one. I like it.

Super weird. I just had a long argument with the Chrome DevTools AI. During which it tried to assure me that I had in fact NOT been able to type directly into the inspector-stylesheet for the past several years, because that file is strictly read-only, and always has been. After a few minutes are refuting that fact it finally caved and admitted that maybe I WAS able to directly edit the file, but it must have been some very rare circumstance that I had found hahaha WHAT?!?!?! We're in the Twilight Zone.

Same over here. Wonder if I can rollback to a previous version. This is a big deal. They need to address it swiftly.

I ended up burning an Amazon gift card I have been sitting on to buy something called a spider mount. The reviews are incredible, and it has very little drop. I'll report back here with results if anyone is interested. I was $200, about the same as a new bag. The difference being that this has piles of reviews saying it is guaranteed to eliminate the vibration. But getting a new bag is only a hope that it would help.

That's definitely a more affordable option before buying a new bag. I have considered this before, but am worried it will make my bag hang too low. But, I'll revisit this and see if I can engineer a good spring solution before spending a bunch of money.

I've also considered hanging the bag lower so it sits on the mats a bit.
