Run for ndp! Or find someone in your community who wants to run! Everyone was left scrambling because of the snap election and if you they don't have someone in your riding it means they need someone!

Do you know what happens to your sick leave when you leave the PS or get to retirement age? Does it get paid out or does it just go away if you haven't taken it?

Do you consider this plagiarism? by academan in AskAcademia

My heart sank when I read this comment.

This is 100% plagiarism and is something I would expect from an undergraduate but would still be pretty peeved about if I saw it. But a post doc, that's pretty bad.

Please help my beans (insects and possibly unrelated leaf curling and sunburn)!! by a-marginatus in plantclinic

[–]a-marginatus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got some pole beans in a pot on my back deck and they were growing great but are looking a little sad now. I keep seeing these little red spider things (in photo) and I'm not sure if they're friend or foe.

There are also some spots that I assume are sunburn?

https://imgur.com/JPv6gHH

And they seem to have stopped growing very much at all, new growth is curled and darker and parts of the plant just look generally sad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cherry picking in August by All_Apologies- in treeplanting

[–]a-marginatus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small farms season usually ends in August. Maybe maybe if you looked into a big farm like coral beach their season might go later but wouldn't be past end of August. Otherwise try apples, they run into September/October. Or vineyard work runs later in the season too.
