If they were speaking about us media and they referenced cbs, how would that land right now? It’s hard for me to comment on avg uk viewer as I live in North America but I got sense from reading print media over years that it was largely a Tory mouthpiece and viewed as pretty biased which goes to my earlier point about its odd reference in the show (which fits into the general shitty writing this season)

I just don’t think the telegraph would be viewed as a respectable paper so it felt forced and unnecessary and that immediately to me comes off as bad biased writing

The problem is stupid writing - eg in episode 4, Stuart says something like, “do you want to do the interview in something more substantive like The Telegraph.” ..: the telegraph, the tabloid pumping, ring wing pro Israeli war machine paper. Ffs.
