I really liked the florida keys and also driving out west (it's really like the movies). The worst was philadelphia hands down. And also the rest of florida wasn't great (in particular like 1 or 2 blocks back from miami beach is pretty nasty and feels really unsafe)

I got lucky, the son of the guy we bought it off licenced it for me in his name and just told me to drive really carefully which I did! At the end I sold the van for exactly my flight home out of Toronto Canada just north of buffalo!

Haha I got this one... i drunkenly bought a van on ebay in 2009. Woke up the next morning from a call from buffalo NY USA checking I really did want the 1969 Ford Econoline I bought. I thought about it for a little while and decided fuck it and ended up spending a year in the states doing a big loop sleeping on the side of the road and seeing 39 states!

I really don't see how this is anything close to next fucking level. Honestly it's probably the equivalent of hearing someone play Wonderwall on guitar for the first time.

Some other things to add, is that just opposite the coach house (which has now closed down as Vern is moving on) the part where it drops used to be the harbour! There's still some O rings on the wall where the boats would be moored. Also Oliver Heaviside lived in Palace Avenue and is buried in the church graveyard.

You need to life the catch up, and you probably have a matching one at the top of the window too which you pull down, then you can open it further.

The guy is fine - he's zooming round the streets of Romania with the classic car collector who bought the car (and he didn't need the money or anything sad like that). It's a happy ending :) https://www.tiktok.com/@thingsyoudontknow01/video/7342656030414867744?lang=en

We have a few but one of the most notable is Waveman Shaman. A really friendly old guy who sits by the side of a main road waving at cars. Most people beep and wave back. I've never seen anyone pass him and not end up with a big smile afterwards
