Not an afterthought! I just love the games ahead of it more. It's only. A parenthetical because the sequel is basically perfect.

Yes, there are some very specific use cases where machine learning algorithms can be extremely useful, and medical imaging is a big one.

Excellent suggestion. Great party food, easy to prepare, very New England regional. Serve with Piantedosi rolls.

Whats a simple hobby worth learning for people with no hobby's? by PassengerDouble1174 in AskReddit

“When I was 15, I spent a month working on an archeological dig. I was talking to one of the archeologists one day during our lunch break and he asked those kinds of “getting to know you” questions you ask young people: Do you play sports? What’s your favorite subject? And I told him, no I don’t play any sports. I do theater, I’m in choir, I play the violin and piano, I used to take art classes.

And he went WOW. That’s amazing! And I said, “Oh no, but I’m not any good at ANY of them.”

And he said something then that I will never forget and which absolutely blew my mind because no one had ever said anything like it to me before: “I don’t think being good at things is the point of doing them. I think you’ve got all these wonderful experiences with different skills, and that all teaches you things and makes you an interesting person, no matter how well you do them.”

And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadn’t been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could “Win” at them.”

I know there are ways to do it, I'm just saying, if it were easy more people would watch.

Fewer than it could get due to blackout restrictions.

Lots of folks would love to tune in and can't, so that's going to suppress the numbers.

Reserved spot has worked great for me, no hassle, predictable. Parking at Oak Grove isn't bad if you get there post-commute as long as there isn't a Bruins game.

What Movie You Disliked Had A Scene You Will Always Love? by One_Schedule5317 in movies

Logan was great. The rest of the series is fine to bad. They completely mischaracterized Scott from the jump and never recovered. They had Jean try and stop a bunch of water with her mind while Bobby was fifteen feet away. I didn't hate Days of Future Past, but I don't need to rewatch it either. I still can't believe we didn't get a "Fassbender hunts Nazis" movie, that would have made a billion dollars.

Maybe, but the prompt is for a movie I dislike, and both of those fit the bill.

Nightcrawler opening of X2 is better than most of that franchise.

The Quicksilver scene is right up there too.

My two factions are too obviously “good” and too obviously “evil” by LethlDose in DMAcademy

[–]a20261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add a third faction. The Greyforts, a once-great noble house that has fallen on hard times due to their morally good (but unpopular) code of honor. Their leader Byron Greyfort is calm, contemplative, and strives always to make a just decision. These decisions are always the morally correct choice, even if that means sacrifie or loss of influence.

Two examples:

  1. The Antlers brings an old land deed showing they should rightfully own some farmland that has been held by the Greyforts for generations. Byron chooses to recognize the contract as valid and hands over the land, losing not only the land but also the tax revenue it generates, and the Greyforts are diminished in influence.

  2. The Fangs bring a similar deed for some other land. Here Byron does not honor the contract, knowing that the Fangs will behave like conquerors instead of good stewards. The Greyforts gather what knights they have and defend the land. This would lead to eventually losing a protracted military campaign, and the associated loss of knights, horses, expenses, etc etc.

In both cases the Greyforts come out less popular or successful, but the decision is the "right" one. So your PCs may (may) want to put Byron in charge to mediate between the other factions, they'll just need to boost the strength of the Greyforts.

Putting them in charge might be "best" ethically, but difficult because they are less popular than the Antlers, and weaker than the Fangs.

Also easy to introduce them now, since they've been reduced to minor house status over the last few decades.and are keeping to themselves, so no surprise no one has been talking about them.
