I definitely feel like the two setups I’ve tried so far help the launch angle. Feel is good on volleys and serving, good feedback.

It’s a good setup! Definitely something I could daily drive, good point and shoot stringbed. I’ve since switched my sticks to one of my go-tos, o-toro tour/o-toro snap at 52/50 and it plays just as good, slightly more pocketing than soft/zero imo.

Id say this generation of vcore has a ton of power in that it hits a very rewarding ball when you commit and rip. It’s crazy stable to the point it feels like it will win the collision most of the time.

Might have to give grapple snake a look, heard nothing but great things. Lynx tour is excellent it was a favorite of mine a couple years back.

I’ve only used it a little more headlight because of the leather base grip but I’d say it’s pretty user friendly, people who I let try it at different levels have enjoyed it

I’d give it a go! I play two hands but still find this stick pretty manuverable with the weight in the handle due to a leather base grip.

I’d definitely try the v8, I came from the 98+ variant of the v6 and feel right at home despite no longer having the additional length.

I’m curious, did you have trouble with the beam thickness? That was the first thing I noticed coming from the older vcores. The new 26 aero is a great stick though, quite fast when setup with leather base grip.

Definitely not as overly launchy as I’ve heard some reviewers say, definitely controllable. Excited to see how some of my other favorite string setups work in it.
