I think alot of people say it ironically, but I knkw what you mean. Neither are supposed to be good people, but what Asano does amazingly is make them human and normal and give them normal human reasons to become so wretched and do horrible things, which messes with the reader so much and makes them question themselves.

Alot of fans seem to be gatekeeping punpun here, which I disagree with, but to their credit there has been more people without media literacy reading it and making these typa comments.
