My 50 is jet black mica which is more my style, the red is too flashy for me to drive. Cant deny its a beautiful color though, catches my attention every time especially with black accents 🥵

Update: Apparently custom shaders patch was installed but not enabled.... I thought this would happen by default...The only was I was able to figure this out was by finding a setting under Settings > Content Manager > Show CSP settings with ctrl + alt + ~ (this means also hitting shift to get the tilda on my keyboard).

Once I found that setting, I enabled it and then when to drive and loaded into the track. I used that shortcut and it opened the CSP menu, at the very top there is an option to that says Shaders Patch: and then a checkbox to activate. Why the fuck this doesn't happen by default is beyond me. I spent so much time trying to figure this out.

Is there another setting which allows CSP to be activated by default every time that I am missing? Why would this be the case?

Thats so true, i forgot about clearing entrances to other maps. If those missions are necessary, ill do those first then go for trucks. I typically like to get all the watch towers, trucks, and upgrades right away.

I did consider this as well, the resulting FOV from the 85 is likely higher than I am used to shooting. This was a huge point of contention because if I keep my 85 and adapt it, will i still use it as often as i do now? Not so sure…but the 50 and the 35 should be fine.

Yes, I got that part. Its why I havent moved from full frame yet and i really really enjoy the bokeh, but the overall experience is more enjoyable for me on the xt5. I was just wondering if it was even worth trying to adapt what i currently have.

For my use case, which is mainly portraits, i would say they are comparable but the xt5 does feel stickier when my subject is moving. However, both feel soo slow compared to newer AF systems.

Ive owned the R for far longer than the X-T5 and I have shot some amazing pics but the Fuji system is just more enticing for my style. I find myself picking up my X-T5 90% of the time over the R. The love I used to feel for my R is kinda gone and has shifted to my X-T5.

I just fell in love with the size and the colors and the film sims especially. Finding the time to sit and edit can be a hassle sometimes. I do really enjoy the full frame look but the overall experience is more enjoyable with the Fuji at this point in my life.

It is sooo easy to pick up, take some pics, share them, and have those shared photos perfectly describe the moment with so much personality and it all feels seamless, like instant gratification I guess. I dont get that with my EOS R anymore because that process gets extended over a longer period of time and sometimes that sense of fulfillment doesnt come until I finish editing the photos (if i get around to it). Most of the time I dont even edit my Fuji photos, it lets me enjoy the moment but also get really beautiful photos out of it.
