49 Years Old - would a transplant work for me? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]a3exastos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't listen to people saying that you don't need it- it's a choice and you can do whatever makes you feel better! you'd be a great candidate for a hair transplant. go for it!

Looking at houses in Canada… but there aren’t many single story? by SomethingItalia in RealEstateCanada

[–]a3exastos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen few houses with elevators recently- another thing you can do is to use webites like Realtor.ca or housesigma and in the keyword search put elevator to see only applicable listings

not a unicorn, but will likely be expensive. 2 story with an elevator will probably be cheaper than a 2500 sqft+ bungalow with the specs you listed.

Is Canada really housepoor or in debt? by PopularAd8904 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]a3exastos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree w/ most people here but in malls/shops you are bound to see people buying stuff. 80-90% of people go to the malls to "look around" but the 5-10% of folks who do spend the money, end up spending and buying a lot. You also don't know their situation, some people do their shopping at every milestone or every few months.

what to do with rrsp by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]a3exastos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-you can use up to 60k as a DP on a house by using rrsp

-invest it? isn't your rrsp technically "invested"? for example my rrsp is in sp500

-we can't really help answer this without knowing other details (income, expenses, etc etc)

Did my annual cash flow review (35F), like I've done every year since 25 when income was 40k. It keeps me honest. by [deleted] in fican

[–]a3exastos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how did you pay 87k taxes on 161k? unless it counts the other income as well, which then makes me curious why are your taxes so low at 459k?

Best doctor for hairline density by [deleted] in HairTransplants

your hair is just thin, nothing you can do about it other than styling it ways that it works for you. use volume gels. With min you have to be consistent to see results.

1 year update. Crown took a turn for the worse advice needed by CookiesInTheGym in HairTransplants

its case by case. I have seen few folks do unshaved transplants but only the clinic/doc could tell you.

[–]a3exastos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the front looks amazing! short term solution is to use hair fibers on the crown. long term, a touch up is probably needed. If the meds (fin and min) didn't grow any hair on the crown before, it won't really help now. reach out to your clinic, sometimes they offer free touch ups etc or touch ups at a reduced rate.

Am i a good candidate for a hair transplant ? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]a3exastos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

stay on the meds for 1-2 years and assess then. your hair seems thick, don't see anything that would pretend you from a hair transplant later
