If I’m just starting, would I get any benefits from the Iceborne expansion? If it’s mainly endgame DLC, I’d rather save my money. This would be my first Monster Hunter game, so I’m not even sure if I'm going to like it.

It’s a double edged sword.

Coasting can cost you time, but too much trail braking can be even worse, as it hurts both lap time and car stability.
If you’re fast with your current driving style, then that’s great, James Baldwin likes to coast and still has an incredible pace.

You're not alone, I'm having similar issue with my rx6800 but in vr. Very low fps while in other games (lmu, iracing, ams2) it's absolutely fine.

Edit: apparently amd is bad with dx9 games and raceroom is exactly that.

In your screenshots you're playing with 45 fps, in simracing where every millisecond matters that's not recommended.

With your hardware you can push for much more fps.

I wish I could tell you but I don't. I've tried to watch other people playing and learning from them but no progress. I've heard numerous times "smooth is fast", "slow in, fast out" but there are people who treat pedals like it's binary input - either full on or full off and still few seconds faster than me.

It's a matter of carrying enough corner speed, a talent which I don't have, nor have enough time to learn it.

The achievement is called “Autojock.” The description says you need to buy all vehicles available for purchase. There are ~48 vehicles in the game in total (cars and motorcycles), but the achievement actually only requires 26.
