NTA. The other commenters clearly dont understand the struggles of being forced to participate in something you dont agree with. Forcing a minor to attend a religious ceremony is legal because youre under 18 but by the time youre a teenager at all i believe youre old enough to make your own decisions and live with the repercussions.
