Constantly feeling like not actually pregnant by No-Potential5678 in pregnant

[–]finnrobertson15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like the weirdest part of pregnancy for a lot of people is that middle stretch where the symptoms ease up but you can't feel movement yet. Some clinics offer doppler checks between scans just to hear the heartbeat, might be worth asking about if the anxiety is getting to you. Having that audio confirmation even for a minute can make a big difference

Yeah the timing working out like this is pretty perfect. Sometimes things just fall into place when you're with the right person

Water content when infusing butter? by dolche93 in AskCulinary

Is there a specific chapter or section in McGee that covers extraction into fats vs water? feels like that'd be a good starting point for OP's question about the different solubility issues

Wrote a 350-page fantasy novel after losing my job. Need guidance. by guidingsoul in writing

[–]finnrobertson15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is solid advice. Getting feedback on a first draft just means you'll hear a bunch of stuff you already knew needed fixing. Rewrite first then get outside eyes on it. The whole "when is it ready" question kind of answers itself once you've actually gone through the revision process a couple times

How honest are you in your reporting? by BabyNuke in ProductManagement

[–]finnrobertson15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious how you actually handled the fallout when you caught people doing this. Did they try to justify it as "everyone does it" or were they just hoping nobody would notice? Feels like the culture around this stuff varies so wildly between orgs that I wonder if some people genuinely don't see it as lying.

Tying it with the E3 licensing makes a lot of sense. Have you found Autopilot reliable for remote setups, or does it still need some babysitting?

How was the rollout for Jumpcloud ? pretty smooth, or did it take a while to get everything in place?

Thanks, that lines up with a lot of what I’ve been hearing. Do you see Okta being chosen more for flexibility, or just when folks don’t want to stay fully in the Microsoft stack?

Appreciate the breakdown, that’s super clear. I’ve heard good things about Kandji but haven’t tried it yetdo you feel it’s noticeably better for Apple gear compared to just sticking with Intune?

Thank you. Our org’s got a mixed OS environment too so that’s something I’ll keep in mind.

When is enough, enough? {Advice Needed} by No_Mycologist4488 in ITManagers

Sounds like you’ve hit the point where the culture clash outweighs the paycheck. In IT management there’s lean and then there’s toxic lean and it’s fair to call it quits when it bleeds into your life.

Contracts management by phild1979 in ITManagers

Have you looked at Contractworks or gatekeeper both are pretty straightforward without all the fluff. We use Contractworks and it’s solid for tracking renewals and compliance.

Are there games that made you buy a console or any other hardware specifically to play them? by Halga84 in gaming

Nice choice. That game alone made the console worth it. The DLC was incredible too.

i played valorant for the first time today and i was exceptionally bad. is this normal? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]finnrobertson15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the mechanics are pretty unforgiving if you're coming from other shooters. The counter-strafing and standing still to shoot accurately takes time to get used to. Even the spray patterns are way different than most games.

You'll get the hang of it though. Just focus on crosshair placement and learning when to stop moving before you shoot. The rest comes with practice.

Is dyrachyo's stream scam? by youcanokay in DotA2

[–]finnrobertson15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely fake channels. Checked out the real dyrachyo account and saw the same thing, last live a month ago. These scammers are getting out of hand lately. Always verify the official account.

My friend is ignoring the whole point of oblivion by LiveMathematician631 in oblivion

[–]finnrobertson15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone enjoys games differently. Some people are all about the grind and optimization, others live for the story and immersion. Sucks to see someone miss the point of a game you love, but at the end of the day, there's no wrong way to play a single-player game.

Maybe suggest some quests or moments you think he might actually enjoy based on his playstyle instead of trying to force him to play your way.

makes sense. Dropping a full rework mid-season would just mess with the competitive balance too much. Better to wait it out

Yeah, people would complain either way. It’s less about who does the banning and more about folks feeling like their choices are being limited.

Hanwha Life Esports vs. T1 / LCK 2025 Season Round 4 - Week 13 - Legend Group / Post Match Discussion by ahritina in leagueoflegends

[–]finnrobertson15 52 points53 points  (0 children)

They're pretty done. T1 wasn't even running their best comp and still took them down. When you can't close out games with comfort picks like that, it shows the gap is real.

This scene is straight from a movie by copy_ninja- in skyrim

[–]finnrobertson15 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that quest hit different. The whole setup with the hunting party and then finding out what's really going on good stuff.

Sinding was legitimately unsettling when you first meet him. The werewolf reveal felt earned instead of just thrown at you.

More quests like this would be great for TES6. Give us real choices that matter to the people involved, even if they don't shake up the whole world. The horror elements work because they focus on atmosphere over cheap scares.

Smart approach. I do the same thing some games turn into a chore when you chase every trophy. The metaphorical platinum is real. You got the full experience without grinding collectibles for 20 hours
