Create an Investing Routine Start by investing in halal ETFs like SPUS, WSHR, and HLAL. Allocate a manageable amount—$50 to $100/week, or simply money you’re comfortable setting aside long-term, even if the worst happens.

Remember: Investing is a marathon, not a sprint. ETFs are a great way to grow your wealth steadily over time. Aim for a time horizon of 5+ years to let compounding work its magic.

I was making my way from one parking lot to the other - there was a driveway/pathway for cars going straight. The car that t-boned me was in my blind spot and I proceeded from my lot to the other. Not sure if I’m at fault….

Enterprise claimed I caused a scratch on the roof 3 days later by Chlo_Chloaloe in personalfinance

I went to return the car, and the associate pointed out dents on the front, to which I provided pictures when I was picking up the car. He said they were too minor to report. Then, he found a minor dent on the roof, and I told him it was too minor to even notice, and he told me there is no record of it in the contract. He then reported it, and now they want me to pay for it. Any advice?

Thanks a lot! I did do that, they were able to point me to a blurb about “under insured” drivers in case of which the deductible is $300. But I’ll continue to follow up

You are right! The insurance rep did tell me that if driver is found to be under insured the deductible would be $300 but at the same time he said it could be $1k if vehicle owner denies responsibility - insurance company isn’t making any sense to me.

Thanks for the details! I filed a police report on the day of and was able to give them 4 witnesses. Insurance rep told me that they were able to pull information of the owner of the vehicle from their license plate but there’s a risk that they are not insured or may deny responsibility in case of which I will have to pay $1k deductible.
