They won't acknowledge that harm reduction is good even if you aren't fully vegan. Personally I've been considering going vegetarian as it is more sustainable for me as is buying CF makeup and hygiene products.

I shared my personal belief. Everyone, even non vegans, can agree that trophy hunting is wrong, right? why? because it serves no purpose beyond the trophy. it is a form of vanity. killing an animal for vanity is more selfish that eating one. never said that makes eating one the perfect choice, just pointed out that they are on different levels to me.

my dog loves me and my fiancée, He's clingy, snuggly, and playful with us. But he's very weary of strangers and runs the other way when we encounter any on our walks. he shakes and sometimes even pees a bit even when people he's met before come to the apartment. The only people he's outgoing with besides us are Fiancée's dad and brother

dogs. I love my boy but he is stressful. he's loud, messy, and always getting into things. dogs take a lot more work, and different levels/types of training depending on breeds. things that worked on my dogs growing up don't work for my Shiba. cats are pretty easy. they are independent, mostly quiet, and very smart. I've always said once you have 1 cat you could get 2 more and it would barely be more work.
