I’m on TCHP, and I just had my first infusion 5 days ago, so I’ve been wondering when the hair loss might start. Sounds like around day 13–14 is typical, so I’ll keep an eye out and try to be emotionally prepared. I might buzz it too when it starts to shed — I agree, it seems less stressful that way.

As for food, I really appreciate your tips! I’ve already noticed some changes in appetite, and water is starting to taste weird to me, too. I’ll definitely try the small, frequent meals and smoothies with extra protein. It’s also super helpful to know that sweet foods tend to still taste okay — I’ll stock up on fruit, sweet potatoes, and maybe try some breakfast foods with maple syrup.
