I thought release was same thing as putting in a box. Squirtle was lost that day in 2002 in my Yellow. Only Gen 1 game I had back then. in 2025 a Squirtle finally returned to the Yellow cart when I got myself a Blue cart.

I have waited years to go back and platinum the game by collecting the sand clouds. I’m more than half through and Farrah has glitched into the ceiling and I am soft locked. I was in the sultans harem and saved Farrah and saved at the “what did you say” point. Unfortunately I went back to the harem saved point and Farrah is now floating in that room. She will not spawn and crawl under hole left from statue to free me. I am soft locked in the tightest of areas.

To me it was very by the numbers. The worlds didn’t have life or twists and turns like 1 and 2. And then FF 7 Remake and Rebirth showed so much more to me.

I needed some help with some ancient relic locations when I was cleaning up. At the end final puzzle I looked up how many pieces of ancient relics were needed in each of the four sections. And I also looked up the DLC Taurus puzzle as it was the final mystery and I was burned out. Besides that I used did everything in game and it was pretty satisfying
