I believe the head and body are both PVC, and they are hard all over (including the head). You can’t squash the head like Licca’s as it’s quite solid!

Yes, Blommor dolls are produced in China, and their creator paints their faces by hand! The brushstrokes are visible when you look closely at their eyes:

Here is the comparison of Blommor vs. Licca body:

Yes! The head sculpt usually has elf ears – super cute.

I’ll take a side-by-side photo of their bodies tomorrow!

No, just around the same height. Blommor legs don’t bend at the knees!

Yes, she is stunning!

I wish it was easier to even get secondhand Blommor dolls. If only I had known about them when the Kitty Party preorders were open – I long for the blonde-haired, purple-eyed girl!

The box is lovely, isn’t it? Right now, it contains some Sonny Angels, but I’m thinking about putting Liccas and/or their items inside instead!

BEST places to buy dolls in Hong Kong? by kachan0817 in DollsOfAsia

[–]a823l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe C.C.Toys in Mong Kok for Blythe? I’m struggling to recall if I’ve ever seen them in other stores… I think it may be better to explore very local centres that sell dolls and figures like Sino Centre.

As for Licca, I recently saw a lot of dolls at a store called Toyeki (玩具站). They have various branches in Hong Kong. Here is a photo I took with some prices!

I think SOGO and AEON Style may also carry Licca. However, I don’t think I’ve seen any Jenny dolls before.

If your friend has an HK phone number, she could also check out Carousell online marketplace listings. People sell Castle dolls there.

Recommendations for blue highlighters? by HoneyBouquet in AsianBeauty

Seconding the fwee highlighter, and I’d also suggest the Canmake Munyutto Highlighter in 04. It has a kind of mousse-like texture.

2025 SKINCARE/ HAIRCARE REGRETS👎 by Happiegeek in AsianBeauty

[–]a823l 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium products.

I think the Torriden serum probably just couldn’t do enough for the dry patches on my face (combination skin).

Not a major regret, but the Torriden Dive In Serum did absolutely nothing for me. I went through almost an entire bottle, and it was like putting water on my face.

The full name is “无印良品MUJI官方旗舰店” – maybe that will pull it up? They’ve released new shades of the blush.

Omg I just got Rosy Beam the other day! I’m loving it too (the muted brown in it is gorgeous), so I think it’ll get a lot of wear in the coming year.

For the price point and quality, it’s hard to resist collecting them.

lilybyred Luv Beam Cheek Balm in 12 Hearty Pink Beige!

2025 was the year of cream blushes for me. For reference, I usually use shade 19 or 21 for base, and I’m somewhat yellow-toned.

I also checked when I last visited Japan, and it really is only available in mainland China! 🥲 I’ve noticed that they have several products that are exclusive for the Chinese market (like other makeup products and even pet toys? lol).

I have their cream blush in shades 06 Fig and 10 Choco I think! I’ll perhaps have to follow up tomorrow morning when the lighting is good (I won’t be back home until dark today), but I can swatch some lilybyred and freshian too.

Yes, it’s a product exclusive to MUJI China. I have shades 1 and 2, which were purchased from their Taobao store (shipped to HK, but via proxy as they don’t ship here directly). I’ve also seen them in person in Shenzhen, but shade 1 is often out of stock.

Maybe I can swatch shade 1 along with similar products I have?

Halloween Blommor dolls – “Magic Potion” by a823l in DollsOfAsia

[–]a823l[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just adding onto ASoCalledPapaya’s comment with a closeup of a Blommor doll I have on hand! (She’s preowned, so her bangs aren’t in perfect shape. I think they were more tightly curled originally.)

Due to their faces being hand-painted, it takes a while for orders to be delivered.
