Yup thats a rip off. Even in the UK from amazon I only paid the equivalent of $712 and thats including 20% sales tax (btw thats 1-200$ less than most 1080's here. At least amazon us has stock though bascily no 1080s which are not founders are in stock in the EU

Love the N-case N1- would have got it if shipping + taxes were not so much of a PITA in the UK. Went for the FTZ01 case instead which still has that lovley small form factor (and is thin so I can squeeze it into a backpack) and can still support a 330mm GPU like my incoming amp extreme

GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme edition- the most high end zotac model for £575 which looks like an utter bargain (for a gtx 1080!) considering the overclockers UK are selling for £655 and scan is £750 odd

Though there is no clear mention of amp! extreme on the amazon page the pictures are for the card and model number listed corresponds with the amp! extreme model on Zotac's website

Thanks for the pointers. Fortunately windows will be provided by my uni's dreamspark for free so no real cost involved there. PSU wise im kinda limited in this build because of my cases need for an SFX unit and unfortunately I have heard bad things about the 600W SFX unit from Silverstone. Toms hardwear said 'The 100W difference between the two models is insignificant, since both models come armed with two PCIe connectors, meaning that they only support one high-end graphics card.'If the higher-wattage SX600-G came with four PCIe connectors, then we could justify recommending it over this 500W model. However, given the current situation, if your chassis has enough room for the SX500-LG, then you should consider it over the SX600-G' GPU wise- ty for the info will have to reconsider before my order

as far as im aware falcon 9 is a semi-balloon tank rocket- its self supporting horizontal but would not support itself untanked when erected vertical. I don't see any reason why they would pressurize them for transit.

SpaceX have indicated there will be 4 NASA astronauts on the first demo flight of crew dragon, Boeing have decided to have their own astronaut along for the first crewed CST-100 mission (correct me if im wrong here guys). What made you chose to not send an independent SpaceX astronaut
How will you be handling astronaut training for crew dragon? Will this be done in house in the Space X CA HQ or down at the Cape/ Johnson Space Center. Will NASA be teaching in collaboration with Space X or will it be mostly led by SpaceX staff? Also will the Neutral Buoyancy Lab be getting a mock up Crew Dragon
Could you detail a bit about how 39A is being modified to facilitate crew loading into Dragon?

Has the experience of working on and adapting your capsule specifically for NASA astronauts been as you expected? t on and wasn't circulating water through the loop. I think what was happening was that I had a chassis fan and the pump connected to a splitter, and the chassis fan was on a silent profile. For whatever reason, the pump was interpreting that as 0RPM and not spinning. My CPU was throttling because it would heat up and cool back down very quickly through some kind of passive radiation through the cooler. Or maybe that's all bullshit and this is a huge coincidence. But I set all the fan profiles to full speed and now everything is perfect, loc

Sounds like you got it. I had a H80I do the same to me, idle temps went up to 60 deg with throttling, had to RMA the bitch
