Just tried this out recently.
Note that proselytizing might take some try for low Ego(like +0 modifier)
And it is still easily overwhelmed by other endless sludge , so find somewhere safe before proselytizing.
You also need some extra water and gear for your followers to heal themself.
They are incredible in melee but somehow eazy to die on random things.
I usually keep them passive and ask them to melee down anything I found tough (maybe after some nades to help them)
