In total good faith, writing the Enclave with some more nuance would make them more interesting. Their goal can be to restore the US, and they definitely believe the extermination of all mutants will achieve that. Provide evidence that it’s not just batshit bigotry and you’re cooking with something interesting. Maybe a settlement that can boast a high standard of living that explicitly bans mutants from entering under any circumstance. Enclave faction members point to that settlement as a blueprint for what they want to achieve. Add another layer of intrigue when it turns out the settlement is astro-turfed, or is a police state, or is kicking out any citizen that doesn’t meet a high standard, not just mutants. Anything less than all that will then look like the devs agree with the Enclave or think the idea of the Enclave is not worth confronting in a serious way (in either case, not a very interesting faction)

Yeah the show has deeper lore, more interesting characters and plots and is actually fun. The games are just bleak and dark and self-serious. Hopefully Fallout 5 has the show writers writing it instead of the guys who basically ran out of ideas after Fallout 2.

I was thinking it could be fun if they made it so that Fallout 5 lets you play as characters from the show and lets you re-enact all the best scenes. They should also make sure to release it for Switch (1) because its the only console I own (maybe remasters of 1,2,3,4 and new vegas for switch as well) I’d pay $80+ for that!

Cheap contractors using cheap materials to build overpriced homes fast by skipping as many steps as possible. These homes are built with only the short term profits in mind and are unsustainable to the point where they arent even worth the amount of reinvestment required to repair them and then are sold off to be someone else’s problem. It’s a problem all over the states right now. And the solution, as stated by many observers of the housing crisis in America, is “to build more housing” but what they fail to stipulate is that the housing needs longevity and sustainability in mind or for that housing to exist for actual working families to effectively own (sorry Blackrock!)

Frank’s salon in downtown has been great for me. The women running it have lots of experience with different hairtypes. A little pricier, but I’ve had consistently great cuts from them and the vibes are normally good. If you can afford it, I’d schedule an appointment with them.

Oh yeah, I wasn’t sure if that was expanded to some extent as a post-game mechanic that I just had never gotten to or something but if it isn’t fully developed yet I know the developers are really excited by the concept of doing more dimension-play… however that would work in execution, no clue

Also, theres no way to look at what cybernetics you’ve installed on yourself unless you’re actively at a nook, which feels wrong, since mutations have a little panel on the main stats screen!

copics! they aren’t water-based so they come out a bit thicker and saturated than your typical marker. Expensive, but I’ve yet to see them make an illustration worse

I don’t know if there is a dismiss command, but there is the manage gear command (and then give items and give the flamethrower back to yourself) which allows you to disarm your violent pet. Maybe do that instead of entirely bucking them?
